Their specialty is toxicology where they can process up to 10,000 drug screens in a 24-hour period. They serve ~125 active customers, many of whom have 2 or 3- year pricing agreements in place that produces recurring revenue streams. There is also minimal customer concentration. The Company operates on a 24-hour/6 day a week schedule. Their largest customers include large treatment centers that have multiple locations across the country, and ~90% of revenue is private pay with the balance coming from Medicare/Medicaid. The Company utilizes state-of-the art systems to manage the lab operations, order entry and instrumentation controls.

Distribution/Marketing: The sales staff is responsible for engaging new customers as the majority of revenue is organic and based on long-term relationships.
Operational Strengths: The current lab location and equipment could process at least 50% more volume by adding staff to the daily and weekend shifts, and the seller has developed plans to expand the building’s footprint which would allow for the addition of more test equipment. The lab is set up to perform additional testing that is currently not offered, including testing of hospital patients.  Another opportunity exists within a separate business entity, which is included with the sale.  This business produces high-margin, environmentally friendly consumables that are incorporated into test kits that the lab uses.
